7th Annual Ride into Light cycle event

Location: Bluewater Park, Wiarton and Market Square, Owen Sound, Owen Sound
Description:

On Friday September 28, join staff, members and volunteers of the Canadian Mental Health Association as we celebrate Mental Illness Awareness Week with a 42 km cycle from Wiarton to Owen Sound to bring mental illness out of the shadows and into the light. Send off will take place at Bluewater Park in Wiarton at 10:00 am after a continental breakfast at 9:30 and a short program. The cyclists arrival in Owen Sound will be celebrated at Market Square behind City Hall. The anticipated arrival at 1:00 pm will be followed by a short program and a light lunch (by donation). There are many ways to show your support: join in the ride, make a donation or cheer on the cyclists. Pledge sheets are available with proceeds to programs and services of CMHA Grey Bruce. Thank you to Lutheran Church of our Saviour and Community Connections for their support of this event.
