Hanover Police Look For Sex Assault Suspect

Police say a man reached in a car window and touched a woman inappropriately.

Hanover Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly touched someone inappropriately on 7th Avenue, Hanover.

Police say on Monday, October 1st, Police received a report of an assault that took place back on September 4th, at 4pm.

The information received was that a female was sitting in her motor vehicle in the parking lot of Food Basics located at 223 7th Avenue, Town of Hanover.

Police say the female was approached by an unknown man who knocked on her driver's side window. She lowered her window and the male reached inside the vehicle and touched her in a sexual manner.

Police say the encounter was very brief and the man then left the area on foot. The victim was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 18-25 years old, 5'8"-5'10" tall, weighing approximately 150lbs. He has medium length blonde/brown hair (to ears).
