A Southampton man is $100,000 richer after a big win on a lottery scratch ticket game.
According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, Alexander Cziraki won the prize playing Instant Crossword Extreme.
The 28-year-old delivery driver is a regular lottery player who checked his ticket while at the store and was greeted with a “big winner” message.
“I was in disbelief! I had to scan it a few times before it started to sink in,” Cziraki says in a statement. “I called my family to share my good news and they thought I was pulling a prank. I think they’ll still feel that way until they see for themselves.”
Cziraki has no immediate plans for his windfall.
The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Esso on West Street in Simcoe.
