Grey Bruce OPP are reporting a number of recent arrests of drivers who were allegedly impaired by alcohol or drugs.
There were at least three arrests on July 10th, the first at about 12:45 a.m. when OPP responded to traffic complaint concerning a possible impaired driver on Sauble Falls Parkway, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
OPP say the responding officer arrived on scene to find a vehicle that had been in a collision.
The driver was arrested and transported to the Grey Bruce OPP detachment, where further tests were administered.
A 44 year old Clinton woman is charged with impaired driving.
On July 10th at about 10 a.m., Grey Bruce OPP came across a vehicle that was stopped on the shoulder of Highway 6, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
A traffic stop was conducted, and during the course of the investigation a driver was arrested. The driver was transported to the Grey Bruce OPP detachment, where further tests were administered.
A 34 year old Wasaga beach resident is charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs
On July 10th at about 8:10 p.m. police responded to an altercation on Ida Street, in Dundalk where they charged a 36 year old Southgate resident with impaired driving.
Also, back on July 3rd, at about 1:30 p.m., OPP responded to a traffic complaint about a possible impaired driver on Bannister Drive in Sauble Beach.
Police say the responding officer arrived to find vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a collision. The driver was arrested and transported to the Grey Bruce OPP detachment, where further tests were administered. A 54 year old Sauble Beach man was charged with driving while impaired by drugs and failing to remain.
