Georgian Bluffs Council has picked an acting CAO as they look for someone to take over the position.
On May 4th, the township announced that they were once again looking for a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Council appointed Niall Lobley, who was the Director of Community Services, to take over temporarily.
Lobley has been will the Township of Georgian Bluffs since November 2022, when he joined as the Director of Community Services, which oversees facilities, parks and trails, and waste management.
He has over 20 years of experience in public service, including working with the City of Kitchener, and Conservation Halton.
Mayor Sue Carleton said in a media release that the township is committed to finding the right person to fill the role permanently.
