Meaford’s Pumped Storage Advisory Committee is holding its inaugural meeting tomorrow.
The new committee will be gathering in council chambers after its members were appointed by council last month.
During the meeting, the nine members and two members from council will be reviewing the committee terms of reference, training for how to run a meeting and talking to the media, as well as the meeting schedule.
The meetings for the rest of the year are on June 13, July 11, Aug. 8, Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14, and Dec. 12.
Meaford established the committee in March and the members, which include Deputy Mayor Shirley Keaveney and Coun. Harley Greenfield, will examine the benefits and impacts of hosting the proposed TC Energy Pumped Storage project.
